Brown Ale je najtmavším z trojice amerických „ejlov”. Vznikol podobným spôsobom ako svetlejší Pale Ale a Amber Ale – odvodením od tradičnej anglickej verzie. Na rozdiel od svojich bratov však pôvodne nebol produktom veľkých remeselných pivovarov, ale úspešným experimentom amatérskych domácich sládkov. Vd’aka svojim kvalitám sa čoskoro začal variť aj na komerčnej úrovni. Naša verzia je výbornou ukážkou tohto pivného štýlu. Pomerne plné telo s chuťou kakaových sušienok začína mierne sladko, no vďaka hlboko prekvášajúcim americkým kvasniciam končí prekvapivo sucho, čo podporuje piteľnosť piva. Kombinácia chmeľov Amarillo a Centennial dodáva pivu jemnú, nenásilnú chuť aj vôňu ovocia. Stredne silná horkosť vyvažuje sladové telo a pretrváva až do konca.

Brown ale is the darkest of all three American Ales. This beer was born in a similar way as the lighter Pale Ale and Amber Ale – as a derivation of a traditional English version. Unlike the rest of its ‘brothers’, this Ale was not a product of big craft breweries but rather a successful experiment of home brewers. Thanks to its qualities, this beer has begun to be brewed on a commercial level as well. Our version is an excellent example of this beer style. Relatively full bodied with a taste of chocolate biscuits, it has a sweet start, however due to highly attenuating American yeast the finish is surprisingly dry, making this beer easy to drink. A combination of Amarillo and Centennial hops grants this Ale smoothness and gentle fruitiness in taste as well as in aroma. Medium strong bitterness balances out the malty body and persists throughout drinking of this beer.
