Aby ste dokázali posúdiť, do akej miery ovplyvňuje výsledný produkt len samotný chmeľ, tak sme pre Vás pripravili pivo len z jedného svetlého typu sladu (Single Malt) a pridali sme len jeden druh chmeľu (Single Hop), kombinácia označovaná skratkou SMaSH. Tentokrát sme vybrali novozélandský chmeľ Nelson Sauvin a pridali sme ho do ľahkého základu American Pale Ale. Je to chmeľ natoľko zaujímavý, že určite stojí za to ho vyskúšať. Vyšľachtili ho v roku 2000 na Novom Zélande a výnimočný je svojou vôňou a jemnosťou. V aróme dominujú zrelé egreše, silne pripomínajúce víno a hrozno. Celosvetovo pestovaná odroda viniča Sauvignon Blanc, ktorá dáva rozdielne príchute a arómy v rôznych zemepisných polohách, má na chladnejšom Novom Zélande typickú chuť zrelých egrešov. Presne toto bola inšpirácia pre názov novo vyšľachteného chmeľu. Naviac je veľmi jemný a ani pri vysokých dávkach nezískava extrémne vysokú horkosť. Náš SMaSH Nelson Sauvin je uvarený tak, aby vynikli všetky ovocné témy, ktorým dominujú práve egreše a súčasne si zachováva veľmi príjemnú a ľahkú chuť. Ochutnajte a pri jednom iste nezostanete!

In order to determine the degree to which the final product is influenced solely by hops, we prepared a Single pale type of Malt beer with a Single Hop sort added, a combination abbreviated as SMaSH. This time we chose New Zealand hops by the name of Nelson Sauvin, which we added to the light body American Pale Ale. It is a hop sort so interesting, it definitely is worth a try. It has been bred in New Zealand in the year 2000 and is striking in its flavor and tenderness. The aroma is dominated by mature gooseberries, strongly resembling wine and grapes. The ubiquitously grown vine sort of Sauvignon Blanc, granting the wines various flavors depending on the area it is grown, has a characteristic aroma of mature gooseberries when grown in colder New Zealand. Precisely this was the inspiration for this recently bred hop sort name. Additionally, it is very tender and even in high doses, it does not bring extreme bitterness. Our SMaSH Nelson Sauvin is brewed exactly in a way that brings out all the fruity tones, dominated by gooseberry flavor and at the same time, it preserves very pleasant and light taste.
